We present to you this old traditional house, located 55km from the town of Kardjali. This two-storey property is situated over 60sq.m of living area and 800sq.m garden. The ground floor of the house consists of two rooms and a hall with stone walls, hardened earth flooring and wooden window frames. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are 2 rooms and a hall with wooden flooring. There is a cellar of 8sq.m as well. Built in 1955 the house is in a bad condition and needs solid repair works. There is no electricity, which can be reconnected easily. Running water needs to be connected from the local springs as well. A new septic tank is required to be built. The road to the property is 8km dirt one, which is ACCESSIBLE during the winter. The locals are very friendly. There are no shops and regular bus transport. A mobile shop brings goods to the village once a week. The area is very beautiful; the view towards ARDA river and the mountains is amazing. Only 5km away is the Devil’s Bridge, which is a very beautiful place for relaxation and picnicks. Kardjali Dam (largest dam in South Bulgaria) is at distance of 10km. The area is appropriate for fishing, water sports, hunting, walking, etc. Transform this house into a cozy cottage and try the rural life in Bulgaria.
